I completed my undergraduate degree at QUT in 2019 and started a PhD in 2020. My PhD project is creating a participatory action research project using co-designed methodologies with communities from refugee backgrounds looking. The project has a strategic vision to improve food security, however, it uses a strength based approach by assuming food security is not necessarily an issue, but rather aims to asset map the food environment using a variety of visual and verbal methods.
I am particularly interested in working in the community setting and am hopeful to continue in this area after my PhD is completed.
