Bio

My career in allied health commenced through curiosity. Travelling in Australia in 2004, I fell in love with the country, landscape and people. In 2006, I moved permanently to Australia. Six years later in 2012, I completed my first Pilates Instructor certificate and commenced my career as a Movement Instructor. Over the years I've had the great honour to work with people from all walks of life in Studios and Physiotherapies located in Darwin, Wollongong, Cronulla and Sydney.  On employment, I very quickly showed exemplary capability in supporting patients through the development and implementation of individual exercise programs depending on the patients needs and goals.  Curiosity led me to try and practise the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Methods, in 2018 I commenced my training as a GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Trainer spending 2.5 years in Europe where I learned from Master trainers. For me, the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Methods  bring fluidity and reconnection to body, mind and physical strength. I think what makes the  GYROTONIC® Method  unique, is that the equipment allows total freedom of movement. This means, there are no restrictions for movement relating to range, resistance, intensity and pace.

My increased interest  in food and nutrition led to commencing a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2021. Currently studying whilst simultaneously working  as a Diet Liaison Assistant at Royal Adelaide Hospital my aim is to combine my passions for nutrition, dietetics and movement into a successful long-term career where I can provide guidance and empower patients to improve their dietary health and overall quality of life.

My approach that has supported success to date as a Movement Practitioner has been “Meet you where you’re at”. This is driven by realising no two bodies are the same, we are unique, and we all come in different sizes and shapes.
