I am a Paediatric and Family Health Dietitian and Lactation Consultant, who combines science & soul to support families to feed their children with confidence.
I graduated from the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Monash University in 2003. As a dietitian, I developed a wealth of acute clinical experience working at a leading Melbourne metropolitan hospital, for over 15 years. A personal understanding of the feeding difficulties many women face led me to become a Breastfeeding Counsellor for the Australian Breastfeeding Association, I now volunteer in the Breastfeeding Information & Research Team. I qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2017 and completed the certificate of paediatric nutrition, to specialise in infant feeding.I work in private practice as an IBCLC & Dietitian in Melbourne. I have worked with schools, childcare centres and kindergartens with education, policy & menu development. I enjoy my role as a DA Mentor, DA Breastfeeding and Nutrition Working Group Co-coordinator and PMHIG Convenor, where I share my passion for breastfeeding advocacy & protection and awareness.
