My name is Sonia Karouzos and I have been at Dietitians Australia since March 2021 as a Policy and Advocacy Support Coordinator. I grew up in Sydney but have been in Canberra for over 40 years and love its proximity to nature, the beach and the snowfields! I am a first-generation Greek Australian so have very close cultural ties to family both here and overseas, living in Greece for a year with my parents as we travelled to all the regions & to many of the islands. I am married and have three grown up children and have travelled to many places, which I love and hope to do more of in the future. I am also an interior designer which fuels my creative side and I love curling up with a cup of tea and a great book!
