Everyone communicates all day, every day, using so many different styles and formats. Quite often we’re communicating without realising or consciously thinking about it.
On the one hand, this means we’re very experienced at communicating, so should be pretty good at it. However, it also means we too often don’t think about how well we’re communicating and what we could be doing to improve how we do it.
Guild’s claims experience shows that communication is a factor in almost all complaints against professionals. It might not be the core of the complaint, but when we dig deeper, we can see that it’s contributed.
This session will explore some of the common misconceptions and pitfalls with communication while providing practical tips for improvement.
