Join the Emerging Dietitians Interest Group for this exciting hybrid CPD event all about business, leadership, and advocacy skills.
Hear from two fabulous private practice dietitians and the Dietitians Australia Media Manager and learn more about how to build your digital brand, skills required for social media success, how to advocate for yourself and dietetics, and tips and tricks for the transition from university to running your own successful business practice.
Location options: There is the option to join this CPD event virtually (via ZOOM), or at the viewing hubs in South Australia and Queensland. If you are joining us in-person in SA or QLD, feel free to stay after the CPD event for optional hour of networking with other local dietitians!

Speakers:
Rose Maclean is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Sports Dietitian, consulting recreational to elite athletes worldwide. Her main focus & passion is to help individuals with their performance in all areas (work, life, training, plus more), through teaching them how to ‘fuel’ their body. She is also a major foodie at heart, consulting food brands/ companies, in a content creation and recipe development capacity, working solely online for this line of work.
Amy Phillips is the Media Manager for Dietitians Australia. She has over twelve years of experience working in the media industry, predominantly as a television news journalist for several commercial news stations. Amy has also worked as a Media Advisor in NSW State Parliament and, more recently, as a Strategic Communications Advisor for State Government. Amy is here to help us leverage opportunities that allow accredited practising dietitians to have an impact in media and politics.
Sophie Rindfleish is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian who runs an online clinic with a focus on gut health and disordered eating. Sophie takes a non-diet approach to nutrition and supports her clients to live their healthiest lives through making peace with food. Outside of her clinic, Sophie works as a freelance recipe developer and food photographer for a number of brands, as well as creating content for her instagram community @healthybodhealthymind.
