I am an APD and hold a Master of Science degree in nutrition & dietetics from the University of Wollongong. With over twenty five years of experience in the field of nutrition policy, health promotion, nutrition marketing and health & fitness writing, you could say that I have a pretty good handle on everything nutrition.
I work part-time as a Senior Policy Officer for Dietitians Australia, working in advocacy and representation to ultimately improve the health and wellbeing of Australians through a well represented dietetic workforce. In addition to this role, I am the brains behind ‘Nutrition Speak’, a niche nutrition consultancy that was established in 2007. In this role, I run savvy shopper tours in my local area and assist organisations with a variety of nutrition solutions, including copy writing for food packaging, brochures, flyers, websites, advertorials and media releases and I develop/facilitate nutrition training for staff in various settings.
